FAMILY TIME - and some new hair

i got a melt. again! someone stop me from changing my hair so often. i guess i just get sick of whatever i do and i like change. i really want to go a lighter brown, but it will be hard because my hair always turns a little red for some annoying reason. 

anywayyyys this weekend i had a lot of fun raking up the leaves in our backyard. the trees are extremely beautiful right now and i am loving the cold, dark weather. i know, weird. i don't like the sun. 

the pants I'm wearing are my new favorite and from Gap. the sweater is from Old Navy - they have a million right now - and i bought like three different colors...

have a good week! i'll be sitting in my tiny dorm room cramming for tests.

SUNDAYS ARE THE BEST DAYS

today was a great day. i officially decided that i want to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. i  never thought i'd be going on a mission, or that it would come this soon, but i couldn't be happier with my decision. i had an interview with my bishop and will turn in my papers sometime next week! a month ago i would have said i didn't know what i wanted to do with my life. i've been so distraught about my sisters passing and felt that my life wasn't going in the direction i wanted it to. but now i have something to be excited about and this opportunity couldn't have come at a better time. i'm already getting anxious to get my call... ah! i can't contain my excitement!!! i can only hope its somewhere in Europe... anyways, here's a little outfit i wore to church.

SAN DIEGO

this past weekend i joined some of my friends on a road trip to san diego, california! it was fall break for UVU students but not for BYU students, so i had to miss some school haha but it was sooo worth it. 

i have officially decided that going on trips with friends - especially roadtrips - is one of the funnest things in the entire world.

goodbye conference weekend! i had a blast going up to my cabin at sundance with my family where it is absolutely beautiful right now. looking at my pictures, i realize that my shirt matched the color of the trees and my nails are chipped... haha oops! still getting used to this blogging thing. i have a midterm in my interior design class tomorrow so i don't have time to say all that i want, except that i could be going on a mission in less than 4 months... how crazy is that?
