almost everything i buy now is for my mission. it will be cold in Ireland and Scotland  - with a lot of rain - (my favorite!), but the summers will be warmer. i'm going to be wearing a lot of coats, rain boots, scarves, and hats. these are just a few cute items on my list but i am mostly IN LOVE with the cocoon coat from J. Crew.

and an obsession with my frye boots.

countdown till Christmas: 28 days, 1 hour, and 26 minutes.

 only thing that keeps me going as i start studying for finals.

 i am thankful for my family. my friends. the gospel. my house. my education. my freedoms. this beautiful world we live in. my good health. books, music, blogs, fuzzy socks, j.crew, coconut oil, thai food, reeses, blackberries, kind strangers, hot showers, down comforters, rainy days, new beginnings, fresh starts, and having something to look forward to. i am grateful for love, for laughter, for tears, and for hugs. for big dreams, small goals, and hardships. most of all, i am grateful for the chance to live and to grow and to become a better person day by day.

CALLED TO SERVE

couldn't be more excited to teach the gospel to the people in Ireland and Scotland!!! my grandparents were mission presidents in Ireland, my dad was born in Belfast, my brother served his mission there, and two summers ago we visited both Ireland and Scotland as a family. its crazy! and i could not be happier.

FAMILY PICTURES

SO... this weekend we had our family pictures taken at the beautiful centennial park in provo. we wanted to send out a photo of us along with one of rachel to let people know how grateful we are for all their love and support during this difficult time. they were taken by the lovely Heather Telford who is a GREAT photographer if any of you are looking for one.

my mom hired me to find outfits for the whole family and after 134349582 hours of shopping i was able to put together some outfits. i made nathan and weston wear grey skinnies, forced michael-sean and wyatt to button their top button, and insisted that elle wore my combat boots. i think we look pretty good don't you?

and oh yeah. mission call comes tomorrow. i can't breathe.

NEW FAVORITES

every one needs a nice leather jacket. and i've found mine! i went shopping to try to cheer myself up after all the election drama, but it only made me feel worse because i spent too much. there will always be that surge of guilt i feel after a shopping spree... oh well! aren't these flats just the cutest things in the world?! they remind me of a dalmatian, which are only the coolest dogs ever.

anywayyyysss mission call comes next week i could not be more excited/nervous/impatient.

 so i love this fur vest. and this dress is also my favorite because its the comfiest thing in the world. i've got a busy week ahead of me with two finals and a research paper. the elections are also coming up... who will you be voting for?

SWEATER WEATHER

 sometimes i get bored, so i make collages. i'm not going to lie this took about 2 hours to figure out haha i'm still getting use to all this blogging stuff! but yeah, here are some of my favorite sweaters that i currently own. i HAVE to stop buying sweaters though, because i've got about fifty.
