getting ready to go! only 3 days left. oh how the time goes by! it was 4 short months ago that i opened my call, can't believe it is already here. feeling really grateful for this gospel, my family, and my best friends. 

it rains ALL the time, so wish me luck.

happy sunday to all! my most favorite day of the week.

the lake is frozen over and it is breathtakingly (is that a word?) beautiful out there. this is us freezing our bums off.

my days are filled with reading, and as i read i look for words and phrases and different ways of speaking that inspire me. here is a little thought by J.K. Rowling whose creativity and determination inspires me -->

i know i know

i am the worst blogger in the history of bloggers. maybe once i get back (in 19 months) i will be able to start blogging my style again.. but as for now i am just too distracted and too busy. i believe this blog will turn into a missionary blog, so i apologize to those who were looking only for fashion. don't worry, I WILL BE BACK. 

and the countdown begins. i almost freaked out today when i found out that i only had 43 days left until i am off to the lovely UK. the rolling green hills and cobblestone streets await me! too excited for words. i am so ecstatic and can't wait to be preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, which i know is the only way to true happiness.

to the snow. seriously, could it get any colder? i apologize for being gone so long, but Christmas is always busy for me because there is too much to celebrate, too much to eat, and too many people to see and hang out with. but i love it. it really is the most wonderful time of the year. 

lately i've had an obsession with peplum tops. and JOE'S jeans are the most comfortable things in the world.
